Act of Valor

Press Screening

Thanks to Gala Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. for this.
I'm sure you've been hearing a must watch movie in the cinema - Act of Valor - recently?
Yes or no? either way, I think it was a real good movie myself. It is simply based on true events and true experiences that was actually happening right now, right here in our very own world....

This movie to me has a real different twist to all those typical movies out there. Simply because it shows that how would one man sacrificed themselves for a group of unknown people who has the same interest, which is to save their very own country.

Act of Valor is a Los Angeles-based production company Bandito Brothers where they filmed a short documentary about the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen. Descendants of the Vietnam era swift boat operators, the SWCC’s primary responsibilities include inserting and extracting U.S. Navy SEAL teams from seemingly impossible destinations, where they carry out their sensitive and exceedingly dangerous work.

“We did a seven-minute piece on who these guys really are,” says Max Leitman, a partner in Bandito Brothers and Act of Valor’s executive producer. “As we got to know these men, we were extremely inspired by them and I think it showed in the work. We viewed it as a gift to them, something they’d be able to go home and show to family and friends to help them understand a little better. And the Navy recognized the passion we put into it.”
So this is how Act of Valor came about to the screen for us!

we should live by this.....
So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and
Demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life,
Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and
Its purpose in the service of your people.

Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend,
Even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and
Bow to none. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the food and
For the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks,
The fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and nothing,
For abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts
Are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes
They weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again
In a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Please do watch it peeps!
Great movie
